Since ff1 is a ~~time loop.~~ Not exactly how much more story could be expanded by just remaking and retelling it again. There's a 4 fiends & chaos plot but it's more like a sick game Vox is playing to torture people for his own entertainment. When that failed, he invented the Warrior of Despair and then that failed too.
