Modern Beavis and Butt-Head looks so good though, at least as good B&BH can look. I think the issue is that it's a little too on-model, if that makes any sense. The realistic style does call for it, but comes off as stilted, imperfections actually breed life in animation. Simpson's had the same issue in the 2000s-2010s but has since improved.
