I'm just finding out it still exists, wtf!

But when it was first starting, I remember renting from them for a little while. Service was horrible, there was barely any availability, especially for the more popular titles, and it took weeks between deliveries. All I remember playing was No More Heroes and Mario Galaxy.

I've never rented; I just buy from them now and then when there's a sale. The used items nearly always come complete with everything they were originally packaged with, since only the disc goes out when the game is rented.

Huh, I never knew they sold used games. Although it makes sense, eventually they'd want to renew their inventory.

I used it for a while quite a few years ago. I recall keeping a lot of games in my queue and never getting the games I would have at the top of my list. I got to the point where I would only keep one or two games on the list, so I would eventually get what I wanted. Still didn't work the greatest, and I ended up cancelling the service. I did end up buying a few games that I rented and really liked though.

I rented from them last year for about 3-4 months, it was ok and I got to play the games I had planned on. But the time between mailing a game back and getting a new one takes atleast 7-8 days. That was definitely the most frustrating part.

they also frequently remind you keep 8-10 games in your queue, and then they almost never send you the game at the top of your list. They just send you whatever the hell they feel like

They sent what they had the most availability for. When a new game was coming out I'd clear my queue and only have the game I wanted on it and it seemed to work. I honestly used to use it to get new games, and then buy them from them, which was an option. That's how I got Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2.

Nope; I don't play enough different games to justify the monthly cost, especially with how cheap I can get games I want on Steam, and then play indefinitely.

I had it for several years and thought it was ok. Thinking about using it again.

Yeah, it really surprises me how the business model could still work like this. Unless it's exclusively older media for older consoles.

Although, that might actually be a great thing because obtaining physical media for older games can be absurdly expensive these days.
