I won't eat them like apples but I absolutely love raw diced white onions on brats/hot dogs and burgers, and on my chili dogs. I can also put them in many things like potato salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, stuff like that. The best summer treat ever was cucumber and onions in a vinegar mixture with seasonings my grandma would make. I'm not on board with biting into a raw onion like an apple personally, but no judgement.
