The (formerly) Netflix show to be specific I just finished episode seven and I was falling asleep. I swear like 90%+ of this show is just two characters sitting down for really calm and quiet one-on-one conversations, usually while eating something. I don't know how you take a character known for being an incredibly violent gun-toting psychopath and then his show is more of a visual novel than an action movie. It has all the excitement of taking Ambien. I'm pretty sure I've missed out on a bunch of plot points due to just zoning out and thinking about other things, it feels like they just keep having the same one-on-one conversations over and over again and aren't really pushing any kind of story forward. I have no idea how the PTSD soldier is meant to fit into the narrative or even if he has a name, it seems like his scenes are just there to be there and don't actually matter for anything. Also I really thought the main Homeland Security agent was Maeby Funke for a while, she gives off a lot of the same energy and looks like her. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's really dull. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but most of the Netflix shows were pretty boring. The mandate to make everything 13 episodes killed all pacing. Way too many episodes are an action scene, people talking in a room for 40 minutes, then another action scene to set up the cliffhanger. --- Can you say David Hasselhoff? ... Copied to Clipboard!
