Which of these toppings is the better of the two?

Pineapple is disgusting, and I've never had it on pizza, but it is better than anchovies by default.

I like both.

Although anchovy pizza is more of a sometimes food than pineapple.

I tend to go for jalapeno, sausage, and veggie.

Have never had anchovies but surely they cant be worse than pineapple.

I've actually had Hawaiian pizza once and it was pretty good

I can't imagine anchovies tasting good

I'm not sure if I've ever actually had anchovies, but I love a good ham and pineapple pizza, so I'm going with pineapples.

Anchovies on pizza is like when the cartoon cat living in a dumpster uses the "fish skeleton with unskinned head" as an ingredient.

Pineapple with ham/canadian bacon is a legitimately good combo way too many people complain about on the Internet. Ham and pineapple has been a thing outside pizza for a long time.

As for pizza as long as its fresh its good but if you order it from someplace and it sits in a box to be picked up or delivered then the pineapple gets warm and soft and its not as good. If its cold and firm then its great but Im a huge fan of pineapple.

But anchovies are inedible.

Anchovies are too salty... Pineapple is great with other toppings.

Both those toppings are okay in small doses every now and then. I wouldn't want either one regularly though.

I tried anchovies once. Just isn't for me. Pineapple is good though.

I would legit eat a pizza with mud on it before one with anchovies.

anchovies for sure. theyre tied for my fave topping. i pref pizza without pineapple. i'll still eat it, but its the very last topping before the "if this topping is on it i will not eat it" list

I like ananas but not so much on pizza (though I gladly eat it as a side dish while eating pizza, just on a separate plate)

fish are friends, not food, the horrible taste is a dead giveaway why you should never under any circumstances eat them

Anchovies are great, and if you combine them with pineapple on pizza it's awesome. Neither is a bad topping.

think majority of the people not voting anchovies have never tried it on a pizza. it's super salty eating an anchovy straight up but on pizza it gives it a good balance and it's actually pretty good.

pineapple is fine for a hawaiin pizza but nothing else.

That is something like 90% of all of the food poll topics on CE. Neverending whining about whatever ingredient/food that they've never actually had.

I couldn't even tell you if I've been to a place that actually offered anchovies as a pizza topping. For a long time I thought it was something made up by cartoons or whatever.

Most pizza places have them if you want it.

Just because you've never asked for it doesn't mean they don't have it.

I've always wanted to try anchovies on pizza but never have. Pineapple on pizza is fine. Pizza purists are lame, mfs put Buffalo chicken on their pizza and complain about pineapple and ham. Who cares
