That sucks. I wonder if they found that a lot of players were disabling encounters and soft locking themselves when they got to bosses severely underlevelled or maybe they just hate fun.

This link had a trial player saying they could turn it off so hopefully this is just inaccurate information.

Square enix own website shows the menu and the lowest it goes is 50%

Seems like a minor, but unnecessary and irritating thing to do.

I'm more annoyed about the mini games, to be honest. Especially if they are meaningful in any way. The game doesn't need that kind of trivial busywork, and I don't want to have to do some stupid QTE crap to get stuff.

Until the game comes out Im going to hold on to copium that its just them not being clear on the details like a lot of things have been for the Switch 2.
