It's cool but a bit too much.

I loved the Matrix so much that I did not watch it's sequels.

The fight scenes in Reloaded, the bad CGI on the Agent Smith Clone fight aside, is really impressive.

I never underwood the hate that Reloaded gets. Sure, it isnt as good as the first Matrix. But Id argue that it has the best fight scene (the chateau) and the best action scene (the highway chase) in the series.

Story isnt as good as the original, but it is still a fun movie IMO.

I will say, the soundtrack is fire though.

First movie I ever fell asleep in the theater for a second during.

Ive come to enjoy it and the third one a little more over the years though.

Overall yes but its held up completely by really good action scenes.

The action scenes are amazing, but the story and dialogue are so so so bad, it derails the whole thing (Same with revs).

Pretty accurate

Gets a lot of hate for not living up to the same level of greatness as one of the greatest movies ever made. But I always thought it was good in its own right. Some of the action scenes get kinda dumb but there was a lot of cool stuff in it.

Matrix 2 = Matrix action

I think it's a really cool and fun movie. Some of the CGI doesn't look good anymore though.

The most jarring thing to me, by a long shot, was the bowling pins sound effect.

I guess someone figured nobody would notice.

That is the scene I was thinking of. Clearly there are a lot of 3D cartoon characters in that scene.

Normally, I'd agree, but it's such a stark contrast in tone to everything else in the movie and even the one before it. It definitely just aged that way instead of being intentional.
