It's been so long since I've seen the remake. Was Jackie chan not Mr. Miyagi? Is he supposed to be his brother now or something. I haven't seen the remake, but iirc, it being a "Karate Kid" was more of a branding thing, since he taught the kid kung fu. maybe Miyagi was brought up sometime during the movie, but I'm not sure. --- "I could never encapsulate all my cosmicality on my own." - mr. I guess I'm the only one that expected a video game. I haven't watched since season 3 so don't want to spoil myself, but had to google to check if this was going to be good or not (meaning, that smith kid isn't in it hopefully, because he made the annoying hilary swank movie seem halfway palatable to sit through) Those pics looked intriguing. I get the feeling that this movie will focus on the history of the other movies instead. Maybe any Cobra Kai mentions will be more like Easter Eggs. But you should still watch the rest of Cobra Kai.
