For as often as people say this site has a mod bias they actually give trolls miles of fucking rope to hang themselves with.

They really do and have for a long time. I remember when you'd be modded for pointing out that a troll was trolling. Meanwhile, the troll would be given multiple chances if they were modded at all. I never understood it. I guess admins like shit stirring. We've had mods and ex mods who trolled too so I guess it really shouldn't be unexpected.

No, you've displayed you're willing to make assumptions without actual evidence to support your claims, like you're doing with me. So I dont know what you know or don't, but I know that you will comment on something you don't know all the facts surrounding, and I will not. I have no idea what the situation with those users are or what played into the decision for them.

Ivynn literally had trouble getting back in despite being purged under those rules. If it wasn't that user it was another because I remember that being a big deal when they first came back

I'm perfectly relaxed but complaining about suffering from mod bias while also benefitting from in it some form would absolutely be ruining a topic about users that can't post here anymore.

This is legitimately like telling someone who's been arrested 6 times since January and released a day later each time that the police actually really like him, and that's why he keeps getting let out. Its flatly nonsensical, and I'm giving this argument much more dignity than it warrants.

Downgrading would even technically still be part of the system (which I believe happened with Toon once). But apparently the admins are straight up just letting purged users who've gone through purgatories received from CE, months long ones in fact, back in for whatever reason, while rejecting others who were much tamer and received smaller purges.

It isn't hard to follow the rules and stay out of trouble.

You realize this started because you tried to correct a user on mod bias and when I pointed out you've benefited from it, the admin is in essence a mod and there's been some bias there, you went down this rabbit hole to deny it and claim you've been modded more than most so you can't have bias.

That's not how that works at all. Like the other two users above us pointed out you are being given a bias by the admin so it's more like saying you've gotten arrested a bunch since January but the captain keeps letting you out because he likes you. You're not tracking that I'm just including the admin and mods as one in the bias, while you're only looking at the mods.

Like holy shit man, "I wouldn't be modded if I had favor", different mods/admins do different things, "but I wouldn't be modded if I was getting favored". We're going in fucking circles here. I said I was done before but I'm cool now. You're going to think I'm bias against you, I'm going to think you're getting favor from the admins. We aren't going to change each other's opinions

Most rich people DONT get arrested in the first place. Thats why we know the bias favors them.

Also the mods may not be biased but the admin could be (downgrading your sentence or letting you back in.) None of that is proof of non-bias. Also the rules weren't "changed when you were let back in" but were in place before you were suspended. People told you this as well.

No, some of the rules changed AFTER I was let in and benefit from those rules. None of my allowances in have been in violation of standards set up by the admin. The one time I was allowed in, because my purg was on a non CE board. That was a rule that was established at the time, it was later changed.

I won't presume to pretend to know why you were let back in or under what criteria. It could just be luck and Toast was having a good mood but the truth is the day you were let in many others weren't leading up to your CE sentence and after.

I mean, sure. I've vouched and will continue to vouch for many of those users.

Reminds me of my brother. In high school he gets pulled over by a cop and the cop was overly harsh, "if I see you driving in my town again I'll put you in jail." My aunt also had a negative experience with that cop so my dad spins up this theory that the cop is racist against white people because the cop was Hispanic. My dad being a local politician, got my brother a personal apology from the chief of police and my brother used this for decades to buy into the narrative that white people are the real victims in society. He had no fucking idea that most people don't get personal apologies from the chief of police after being wronged. He finally snapped out of it and voted Democrat for the first time in his life in 2024.

No, "this didnt happen for ____ user so therefore it cannot be the case for you" is not an actual argument for that though. Especially when indomt know what convo they had with the admin, their history, etc.

Yes, I made the claim in not benefiting mod OR admin bias just because I got let back in. Me getting let back in does not itself indicate I have admin favor. I simply use the resources available to me to make a case for myself when possible and sometimes the timing has been omy side by happenstance. I dont always agree with decisions Dtoast makes for other users, or myself. I think thst dude who made the phil Collins joke should absolutely be let back in, and argued his case on the discord and here. A year ago acemos got a suspension for a comment about rdj being casted as doom, I argued against that vehemently, and thankfully it was reduced down to a warn. I've always done this, and generally side with the user against the mod in MOST cases at least offering benefit of the doubt.

One of us is using facts and offering evidence. The other is denying those, refusing to look at that evidence, and throwing out barely informed anecdotes to "support" their argument. Thise two sides are not equal, and shouldn't be treated as such. You know this as well as I do.
