That's going to depend highly on definitions. Are we limiting discussion to human manufactured objects?

Wheels... I thought about the toys, suitcases, office chairs, motorcycles, golf carts, lawn mowers.

Doors has an argument with hotels, cabinets, cruise ships, office buildings, condo towers, but I'm pretty sure wheels takes it.

Think of an office building. You're probably thinking "There's a lot of doors in there!" yet each chair has at minimum 4 wheels, and there's probably tons of chairs

I didn't want to get too out-there with what would be konsidered a door/wheel. With that line krossed even moreso than I gave it thought, wheels might be able to win this on gears alone.

This seems like an easy question. Ive never heard of a secret murder club that can punch people so hard they turn into wheels.

People are always tempted to say doors because they think of office buildings, but office chairs have wheels, and the ratio of office chair to office door is highly in favor of chair, already.

Depends what we're defining as "wheels" (and, to a lesser extent, "doors"). Are we just saying external wheels, like those found on cars or bicycles? Or are we counting wheel-like components, like gears and swivels? For doors, are we counting things like pet doors, cabinet doors, or - if we're being extreme - things like cassette/cartridge-drive flaps that functionally behave like doors, or is it just doors that humans are meant to go through?

If it's only "external" wheels that count, I'd say doors (whether or not we count "sub-doors"). Think about how many doors are in your average hotel or apartment complex - not just the doors to the rooms, but also doors for bathrooms, cabinets, closets, and the like. Think about how many doors are on a container ship, as each container is going to have a minimum of four.

If we're counting "internal" wheels as well, I think wheels probably win out. Wheels and wheel-like objects are so integral to so many mechanical processes, I don't think even an extremely generous interpretation of doors would allow them to catch up.

Wheels need to be used for locomotion. Cogs are not wheels. Biological organisms don't have wheels unless they use those structures to move.

lol no they dont need to be used for locomotion, or movement from one place to another. Movement within a thing is still movement. I concede cogs are not wheels as they are merely the teeth on cogwheels which of course are wheels. I dont know anything about biological wheels but am quite certain that counting all the gears in all the mechanical devices in the world (lol again if you repeat the claim that they arent) far outnumbers doors.

Correct, those are not wheels.

Perhaps if anything that can roll is a wheel then anything with a hole is a door.

There are doors that has wheels, but there's no wheels that has doors.

If you want to get nit picky, many doors have a wheel on them. Since a door knob is technically a "wheel and axle" mechanism. That just adds more weight to the wheels side of the question.

If you're going to do that, then "door" must be limited strictly to something you can open and travel through to get from one place to another, which gets rid of any and all cabinet doors, as well as any closet doors that aren't on walk-in closets. We also can no longer count sliding and revolving doors, even though they have "door" in the name, since they don't function like the most common kind of door. Honestly, jury's out on car doors, I'm not sure they work, since you're technically just climbing into a smaller object, like a trunk.
