It was pretty good, honestly. Just....definitely Snyder made

There is an old Nordic cartoon from the 90s called Gudar, trollkarlar och vidunder.
It was basically the Norse mythology split on 24 episodes.
It was done on computers so it was kinda ugly, but it was still good for what it was.

Not really. Norse gods weren't like Greek gods where they were all dicks, some were genuinely heroic (the Norse idea of heroic which doesn't always line up with the modern idea of heroic). Thor was generally "good" in most myths.

im pretty sure originally this was ment to be about the greek gods but zack decided naw thats to cliche so used the norse gods instead

this also lines up with the disgusting twist ending

The weird thing is Snyder really seems dedicated to diversity in between his edgelord qualities. The show is quite racially diverse with complex female characters, and has a very sympathetic trans character voiced by a trans actress. And it's very much a look at how horrible Viking/Nordic culture could be.

It's just, well...again, Snyder gonna edgelord

i had to watch that scene 5 times to make sure thats what it was saying as i was just shocked

and for what ever else can be said about the garbage show it deserves props for this

I always have that hope that he can deliver a good product. And it's always misplaced hope based off way back when he had 300 and Dawn of the Dead remake.

I have it on good authority Snyder really, really does care about trans rights and actively sought to give trans rep and also included a trans writer for Rebel Moon stuff.
