Missing, no. Cavities, one, in a wisdom. Hasn't bothered me for years.

About five years, economic reasons. Thankfully that has been rectified.

No missing teeth.

Last time I went to the Dentist was May 1999 when I got out of the military and you had to get fully examined before discharge.

I have never had a cavity, nothing missing, straight white normal teeth and never had pain. I have dental coverage through work but just see no real reason to go when everything looks and feels fine. I turn 49 in a couple weeks. No issues.

15 years

the first time I went was because one of my wisdom teeth broke in half. other than that, they said I only had 2 cavities. I went for a checkup every 6 months and every time they said I had 2 more cavities :(

Feel like they get a read on how much you can pay. If you have insurance and regular appointments, they'll keep fixing up small fillings

Probably good for preventative measures but definitely a little exploitative too lol

it only cost me $60 per filling, insurance paid the rest

one of them was in a molar though and he basically drilled out my entire fucking tooth. they gave me a 5 minute break between drilling and filling and that had never happened to me before

A decade or so. Was too long. Had to have a few teeth pulled because I waited too long to get them worked on.

Need to get some implants but all my missing teeth are in spot on the same side and Im used to it now. Plus implants arent cheap either.

I'm trying to remember: I think I went to a dentist only once in college. Other than that, it's been every six months like clockwork, except the time their soonest appointment was a year out.

I started scheduling a year ahead then.

Might as well go for an annual cleaning and checkup if its covered.

5 or 6 years after turning 25 (stopped being covered by my parents insurance) until I got a job that had my own coverage. I finally went because of pain and ended up with a crown on a molar.

Supposedly it will need a root canal and an implant some day but it's been hanging on for a while.

11 years. It started with my senior year of high school. I was supposed to get a few cavities filled in, but my mom never took me back (think it was a money issue). And then first years of college, I just didn't go because of money. Then towards my last few years in college, my mom got dental insurance again and told me that I should go since now's the time, but I was too scared to go fearing costs (I already had trouble paying rent and tuition). And then young adult life, still poor and chose to be uninsured to take as small a hit to my paychecks as possible.

It wasn't until my late 20s where I got a better job and finally decided I'm not poor anymore and I can afford the dentist. The dentist and hygienist were very surprised at how well my teeth looked to go 11 years without a cleaning. There was some irreversible gum damage though (the bottom are a little more exposed than normal, but it's not really noticeable). Teeth look great though. I've been going 3-4 times a year for the past 3 or 4 years now.

Just two or three since I went in. Basically I had set an appointment months in advance, forgot, and got a call while I was at Disneyworld that I missed my appointment. They wouldn't let me reschedule sooner than six months so I got pissed and never went back. My teeth are doing fine though.

10-15ish years maybe, prob pre-high school to post-college. No cavities that I recall but I never flossed so I started having gum issues that I could no longer ignore. Went to the dentist 1 time and saw immediate results, so Im a believer in regular dentist appointments now.

Probably 6-7 years... twice. Hated my dentist and stopped going until I moved away, and found one at the new place. Moved away a few more times, and hadn't bothered until my gf gave me hell for it.

No missing teeth. And now I'm very aware of getting close to 6 months since the last visit.

25 years. Never had insurance and when I got some I kept putting it off. Needed a lot of work done but somehow avoided gum disease and losing teeth. I look forward to cleanings now, I find them oddly relaxing.

10 years, I didn't go at all from around 19 years old to 29 years old.. I didn't get any cavities in that time, but I did have an abscess in one of my front teeth so now I go twice a year.

the craziest part is that I didn't get a cavity in the tooth that abscessed, I got hit in the face with a baseball when I was 7-8, and apparently the physical damage from that caused an abscess in the root over 20 years later.

but yeah, abscesses are not fun at all. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, so be careful and take good care of your teeths.

Had a similar thing happen. Age 8 bike accident = age 25 root canal . abscesses are hell

Havent been since I was a child. In America teeth and not considered part of healthcare. Theyre a luxury for rich people.

Luckily they still look great with no pain I brush and floss twice. But who knows.

Since then I've been going twice a year and have been pretty good. Had 1 small cavity recently but it was no big deal.

Probably about age 18 to 22 when I didn't see a dentist for mostly financial reasons, did a fair amount of damage because I was drinking too much soda and not brushing often enough.

Nothing missing, mostly fine now. Had to get quite a bit of work in my 20's to catch up, but it's done.
