To win some money.
I've only been to a casino once and I played craps which was really really fun. So definitely going to play that again. Need to brush up on the rules.

What else should I play to retire early?

None of them, if winning money is your goal. They aren't there so you can win money, they're there to win money from you.

Easy: Don't. Otherwise you'll be hundreds if not thousands in the hole before you know it.

If you really want to gamble, set aside however much money you're okay with losing.

Leave absolutely everything else somewhere else.

Blackjack is the best odds in the casino if youre playing at a place where blackjack pays 3 to 2

hard to find these days in Vegas though

Not in a "gambling is dumb and you are dumb for gambling" way, but that it's super easy to get carried away. It's best to set yourself a hard limit.

If you wanna lose money so bad, go to a good restaurant instead. Youll lose the money and gain a meal, not a gambling addiction.

If you win any profits then stop immediately. Chances are you will lose everything you just won, if you keep playing

your overall odds of winning at black jack are very close to 50-50 (if you play exactly "by the book"). but there are a number of rule changes that casinos can make to give advantage to the house

a winning hand in blackjack is paid out 1:1 (you bet $5 and win, the house pays $5). however, getting a blackjack, traditionally, would net you a 3:2 payout (you bet $5 and get a blackjack, the house pays $7.50). But most of the big casinos have started making it a 6:5 payout on lower stakes tables (you bet $5, the house pays $6)--and over time, this is a huge disadvantage to the player

anyway I'd recommend low stakes blackjack in general as the game to play because if you get a decent table of people it's a lot of fun and a fairly small amount of money can generally last you a long time unless you get very unlucky. I also find it more engaging than something like roulette (also decent odds compared to other things in the casino). But some people like roulette because you don't have to really make decisions the way you do in blackjack

Haha yes this, last time I walked into a casino I won like $250 in 20 minutes and was like welp that'll do it for me and left.

You shouldn't gamble in hopes that you'll actually win money imo. Money put in a machine/on a table is immediately not yours anymore. The only surefire way to 'win' is to put a hundred in, play slow and get a few drinks out of it.

I don't gamble and when I did i would play roulette. But my friends play craps and win every once in a while. Bubble craps is huge here in Vegas but it looks boring af.

Just play for fun, not to win. If you win a lot, just cash out and go do something else other than gambling.

Ooooor set a specific amount you're okay with losing and lose it. Put in $100 and you get to $150? Keep the $50 and continue playing the $100

Most people on this board are just fuddy duddies. Playing games at a casino is fun, and is an experience. Obviously winning is more fun than losing, but as long as you understand the odds are against you and you aren't playing to win 'real' money, you'll be good.

Also don't get tricked by the newish slot machines that use your losings towards a bigger payout. The cartoon pig coin bank ones for example. I shot a corporate video for the company that makes that one in particular and it's all perceived progression. Basically those jackpots are programmed to hit after a predetermined amount of spins (like 10000 spins).

Old people love those. It's a scam.

yeah this is a good attitude to have, but also gambling is fun and part of that fun is the addicting rush of winning
