She should have understood that her job was potentially on the chopping block but seemingly either ignored the warnings or only listened to right-wing sources that told her the lies she wanted to hear. Does she understand tariffs? I mean, the implication is that she didn't think the costs would just be passed on to the consumer which literally is exactly what happens with tariffs. There's a reason why other countries do strategic tariffs rather than the moronic blanket tariffs that Trump loves.
