Most recent game I played was technically DS3, pretty sure the Ashen One would get stomped, regardless of level or build.

I initially misread that as something to the effect of "could the last video game be beaten by super saiyan Goku."

The last one wouldn't be interesting, so lets go back another one or two. One game was the Sentinels of the Multiverse PC game, in which you play as a team of superheroes. So its definitely possible for either side to win, especially depending on the team (its a card game, but we'll assume that they are fighting with their actual abilities). Since a fair number of heroes do have... non-standard methods of attacking (including psychic and various magics and supertechnology and whatever the heck it is that Guise does other than being a Deadpool parody with more superpowers), there are some teams that could probably take Goku down.

As for Goku, he would need two to four other heroes with him (the game must be played with 3-5 heroes), but he could probably handle most of the villain threats other than Obliveon and a couple of the weirder ones (there is one "villain" for instance who is actually the younger form of one of the heroes and you LOSE if she dies, and Goku may not be very good at saving a sleeping child who has just awakened as a very powerful psychic esper mid-dream).

The other game is the new Phantom Brave game, which puts it in an odd place because its basically part of the Disgaea-verse. Which means with enough grinding, yes they could defeat SSJ Goku. But probably not during the canonical story events (still playing through, so don't know for sure). Although, if Goku were already dead before meeting the cast, Marona could basically give him a temporary body to fight, and Goku would probably end up thinking that would be fun and help Marona out and now we get Goku beating up a bunch of pirates, ghosts, ghost pirates, walking bottles, and whatever else this game ends up having.
