because the term was coined specifically to describe Symphony of the Night and the rest of the later Castlevania games in contrast to the 'classic' games. The other term going around for those games at the time was 'Igavania'. --- The only certain death in the universe is Mother Hitton's Littul Kittons. I always that they call Castlevania games "Metroidvania" to differentiate the classic Castlevania to the more modern RPG adventure ones. Turns out I was the minority in thinking this. --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple Dictator of Nice Guys ... Copied to Clipboard!
