Toby is a bad Spider-Man, MJ sucks as...well MJ, and while we got a Doc Ock villain, he's nothing like his comic portrayal. He's basically Peter Parker if Peter was completely self-involved. Iirc he does not like it. Same for like alien 3 with its well known director. He was pressured to tie in too many arcs into one movie, so it was a cobbled-together product. Believe it was Venom that wasn't in his original vision, and Sony wanted him to make it happen. Eric Foreman didn't make it a particularly attractive character. The symbiote effect had it's moments, but the closure and some moments were paced in a way that made it seem like a disposable element in the trilogy. I don't think we'll ever get a real firsthand feel of the challenges in detail, but with some of the context revealed, in some ways it's impressive that the end product still got strung together with some cohesion. --- Competing every night, both ends, shoot inside/outside, fast break, transition, Monta Ellis have it all <cite>KaZooo posted [p:983955166] in Is Spiderm...
