Because I'm getting lost constantly >_>

I wander around aimlessly with no clear direction so much. Those red marks don't seem to always appear on the map either. Like I just finished Tsuta Ruins and the only clues I'm given are something about that fishing kid and a bridge by some rapids. No map marks or anything.

Git gud? Maybe I'm spoiled by modern games too much, but damn, I just cannot seem to find my way around at all.
