I know it's probably impossible but I hope he and all the officers who did their job in trying to protect the capital can file civil lawsuits against every single one of those traitors that got pardoned.

The civil tort is separate from the crime and because a pardon means guilt and the burden of criminal guilt is higher than civil liability any civil lawsuit against them is almost guaranteed summary judgement.

Indeed. Any civil suit filed against them is almost guaranteed to win because of the fact that it is on the books that they committed a crime. A pardon doesn't change the fact that you are, according to the law, a criminal.

That's kind of what happened with OJ Simpson - Nicole and Ron's families couldn't get actual justice, so the best they could do was sue the living hell out of Simpson's estate and get every penny they could from him. There should be suits filed against the terrorists by the end of the week.

OJ was found not guilty though so Nicole's family had to re argue everything in civil court where the burden of proof is only "preponderance of evidence" (aka "maybe probably did it") and not "beyond reasonable doubt"

If OJ was found guilty as all these guys were, the civil suit would have been an automatic victory because guilt was already established to a higher burden of proof.

They committed their crimes on camera and many of them admitted to doing it in court. That means that they're guilty, and in a civil case, that means they're automatically responsible.

It is going to be so hilarious when these fuckers get sued, but you just know that Elon Musk is going to foot the bill
