Applebee's burgers are actually kind of decent, but bottomless fries are worthless since they're mid and you can't really eat that many of them before getting full.

The $10.99 deal at Chili's is better because you can also get the chips & salsa as an appetizer with your meal. The burger at Chili's is better too. Applebee's only did this because Chili's was doing so well with its deal.

All the Chili's and Applebee's near me closed 10 years ago, so I have yet to personally experience their comeback story. So sad.

I'd rather spend $5.99 (app special) on a Taco Bell cravings box. Burrito, taco, nachos, and a drink. That fills me up.

I can make more, better, cheaper at home

My wife and I do the pick 2 + an app for 25 every now and then. It's not great but it's the cheapest sit down experience you can have anymore.

Seems like a good deal, but the chicken sandwich looks a little sus. Looks like fairly priced food.

I used to make fun of fast casual places like Chili's and Applebee's, but now McDonald's and Burger King are as expensive as them for way worse quality.

Unlimited sides are an awful gimmick. They'll give you like one refill with 8 fries then vanish. Red Robin does it too.

We were getting 3+ refills of Red Robin's fries pre-COVID.

Isn't Applebee's the place that will screw up your order and then charge you for the remake as well

I got the chicken sandwich as takeout one night and honestly, it was pretty good. A decent sized chunk of chicken on it.

The fries sucked but I had no expectation for Applebees fries.

nah but the applebees by me sucks. every time i get to go it takes forever like nobody there does any work really. haven't ate inside since pre covid since the food has always sucked. burger is average at best and one of their better options but i'm still pretty sure it's just a frozen burger like a lot of their food. i know they say they're not frozen burgers but if they're not then it's just super cheap quality meat cause it tastes nothing like when i make a fresh burger at home. that chicken sandwich is definitely frozen though. online says all their breaded stuff is frozen.

That's encouraging. I still feel spoiled by gigantic cuts of chicken like Fuku or the former Delaney.

I would definitely order it if I happen to be near one off the interstate.

Already went twice. The chicken sandwich is pretty good. The fries weren't amazing but were fine in my opinion. I ate them there, though. Would have probably sucked if I brought them home first.
