Last time I bought a pair was early 2000's like around 2001. Even in todays prices the Lee Carpenter Dungaree jeans I like at the farm store are only around $35. In one purchase you have spent more than I have my entire life on jeans and I'm almost 50 years old. Good jeans. There's a big difference between Levi's from their flagship stores and Levi's from Kohls or whatever. I even have 2 pairs of their Nike collab jeans.
