Ricemills posted... 30 fps is fine. Why waste resources going higher when I dont notice much difference? Without vsync I can notice some screen tearing at times but with that on it is exactly the same to me. Someone explain to me what difference I am suppose to be seeing so I can look out for it. I can handle 30 fps if the frame rate is stable. But there is definitely a noticeable difference between 30 and 60. If you're playing first or third person games you notice all of your movements and the camera movement are snappier, smoother & faster, for example. --- http://i.imgur.com/NkZUeFd.gif ... As for me, 60 fps somehow feel more responsive than 30 fps. If you just comparing cinematics, it may not feel that different, or the forced 60 fps feels a bit janky if the native was at 30fps. --- You have the right to remain silent. I agree, it literally doesn't make a difference. Ocarina of Time was like 15 FPS and is still one of the best games of all time. I don't care about FPS, it's not a real thing and I refuse to believe it is or care about it ... Copied to Clipboard!

I can handle it if it's stable after an adjustment period. I jumped right into Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 after finishing the PC version (as in within minutes) where I was getting 60. Because of the issues with the performance mode at release, I went with the graphics mode. Had a headache and was mildly nauseous for about an hour until I got used to it. Also, if you want the best time to beat me in Mario Kart 8, it's after I've been playing single player or 2 player split screen and then switching to 3+ player split screen. --- This is a signature. ... I grew up on 30 (or less). It still looks fine to me after a little adjustment but I prefer 60. I kinda hate movies that are shot at the higher frame rate though. I dunno if I'm just used to 24 or what but it just looks bizarre watching live action that's shot at the sitcom rate. --- Arguing on CE be all like: https://youtu.be/JpRKrs67lOs?si=kPGA2RCKVHTdbVrJ ...
