This can be a big week for many, not just with Thanksgiving Day itself, but also traveling, and Black Friday and such.

For me, Thanksgiving Day is with the in-laws, and should be low key and hopefully stress free. Just bringing wine. Offered to cook something, but no. Don't have my kids this year (I had them Halloween this year instead, which is better).

I am trying to organize a karaoke event for Wednesday night. Seems like a good pre-Thanksgiving activity.

I don't care about going out on Black Friday, but I will be on the lookout for online deals for some games I didn't want to pay full price for, including:

Spider-Man 2
Stellar Blade
Black Myth: Wukong
Astro Bot
Metaphor: ReFantazio

I think I'm going to my sister's for Thanksgiving but I have to work that night so I won't be over there for too long...

Already bought five games from early Black Friday sales but I'm keeping an eye out for more... Nothing really in particular...

The kids are with my ex wife on Thanksgiving, so that day I'll probably just sit at home alone and play video games.
We're going over to my parent's house on Saturday for a late Thanksgiving, and probably spending most of the rest of the weekend decorating for Christmas and making gingerbread houses with the kids.

Today's my holiday at work and I plan to go in. Then I'll go in on my day off tomorrow as well. Thursday I'll be going to my mother's house for some good eats and, hopefully, good drinks. Then back to work friday.

Will go to my parents for a few hours on Thanksgiving, but aside from that going to be chilling, playing video games, and not doing much on my days off. Think I may try to do smoked pulled ham on Saturday to watch Survivor Series.

I am working Thanksgiving morning. I work receiving at a big store and are getting a merchandise truck Thursday morning, for Black Friday. I will be done by 4pm than am off for two days.

My local comic shop is hosting local artists as a small artists alley on Saturday and will check that out.

My nieces and one of their mothers will be fixing a meal today for us all to have together, and then they'll all be going back home to have Thanksgiving with their families and I'll be alone until my nieces come back.

I just looked and saw a bunch of games for like $40 at Target with early Black Friday sales. I also had over $100 in Target Circle rewards (I had no idea), so I just bought 3 games for $14. Yay me!

Part of me really wishes that I was into online gaming and played Helldivers

Also, I think I am going to give up on Unicorn Overlord. I find it boring, repetitive and way too easy (yes, I moved up the difficulty)

i hate online gaming but helldivers scratches the left 4 dead itch for me, which is really unique and sorely needed

Five hour car drive to stay with my parents. Will have dinner with them at my sibling and his families house. Taking a few days off work.

Dinner at home with my wife, then dessert at her parents place.

This may be her father's last Thanksgiving thanks to a degenerative lung disease he developed around this time last year, so I want to make sure she gets as much time as possible with him during the holidays this year.

Lung disease sucks, lost my mom to lung cancer, and now my wife is going through the same thing (albeit without the cancer part) with her dad.

On a lighter note - hoping to also finish my report of FFXV by weekends end, with an attempt to do all the post game stuff before our vacation to Disney World next Saturday.

Just gf and parents. We are doing duck and I am making pumpkin pie

After work Im gonna make myself a pizza for dinner and a cherry pie for dessert and watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Then going to see Moana 2 the next morning.

How many kids? How long have you been divorced? The kids happy with all of that?

Sorry if nosy, but I am in the same boat. 4 daughters, divorced 8 years, recently remarried, and the kids seem very happy now.

Thanksgiving is at my moms.

Black Friday were going to NYC for our global entry interview (airport near us didnt have any appointments through February). Then well make a day of it, not sure exactly what well do.

My old tv broke down recently and my new one isnt arriving until Saturday sadly. So after spending time with my family I guess Ill just go to the movies, gym, and play on my mobile for much of that until then.

Work

My parents and siblings are coming to my house for a thanksgiving first. My wife and I rehearsed on two different turkeys. Some birds died in the name of science but I think were ready

Today: prepare stuff for the turkeys, clean up the house, and play video games.

Tomorrow: wake up way too early to fire up the Primo and oven, smoke / cook turkeys, and hang out with the family. It will be good to see my grandma out of hospitals and assisted living places for once. She was diagnosed with a glioblastoma a few weeks ago, and she has decided to let the tumor run its course.

Friday: play video games, change the oil in my car, and hang out with friends I met through Random Insanity.

Saturday: play video games, and probably playing DnD.

Sunday: play video games.

That about sums it up.

I'm hanging out with my fiance and my family.

My mother-in-law lives in Arkansas and we drove up last night

Went on a deer hunt on their property this morning, my sisters siblings, and their families should be getting in in the coming hours

Going on another deer hunt this afternoon then probably gonna get shitfaced tonight with the family

Deer hunt in the morning then we do a Thanksgiving lunch, maybe a Thanksgiving afternoon hunt then more drinking on Thanksgiving night

I might be heading back home on Friday morning and my wife and the kids might stay at her moms house until Sunday

Thursday and Friday are normal work days for me. So just working. This week is like any other for me. Only Thursday and Friday are holiday pay so I get 2.5 normal pay. Dont need the money but Ill always of course accept the extra just for doing my normal shift. Just more to hoard and not spend at the end of the month haha.

When I get off work I'm picking up a 30pk of beer and staying home the next couple of days. Video game and movies/YouTube.

Only local family is doing anything. My sister in law hosts and it's a nice blend of her family and mine. It's really nice because we all get along.

My niece is dragging me out to bars the next few nights with her and her friends. While it might sound awesome to hang out with a bunch of college girls, in reality it is not. They're overall a very loud group of "whoo girls" that for reasons i dont understand like to drag me along. I will likely just drink and head out on the dance floor to have fun.

We ate Thanksgiving dinner yesterday to avoid the vast quantities of other people. Today Im resting because I felt like I had a cold (and Ive got a broken bone). Tomorrow I will probably do the same thing and then get back to things on Friday.

Work, then going to my aunts house for dinner tomorrow

my roomate had a Friendsgiving party on Saturday so Im already sick of thanksgiving food since Ive been eating leftovers every day

I'm going to go out in an hour or two and celebrate Black(out) Wednesday. Tomorrow I'll go over to my parents far earlier and more hungover than I'd like, help out and then eat all day

thanksgiving dinner for myself (taco dinner). i have a ham in the fridge but i don't want to open that until i run out of chicken tenderloins (it'll buy 5-6 days of not needing to go to costco) to restock.

already did most of my black friday shopping. only need to find and buy warm gloves, shoes and towel.
shoes due to heading off the tariff in case it happens.

friday is shopping for that stuff.

may get hopeful for saturday to be dry so i can try and wash a huge blanket at the laundry mat since apartment washer may not be enough.

Today: Work. The going to see Wicked with the Wife.

Tomorrow: We usually do Thanksgiving with my side of the family, and the day after with her side, as her aunt decorates her house for Christmas that day then we all eat leftovers. But her mom's birthday happens to fall on Thanksgiving, so we're going to her aunt's tomorrow instead so we can be with her mom on her birthday. It's a bit of a drag because, unlike MY side of the family, where everything is much more casual and dinner isn't until 5pm, HER side of the family is filled with a bunch of pomp and circumstance, where dinner is this 7 course extravaganza that starts at noon and runs until like 9pm.

Friday: Work

Weekend: Normal Weekend.

Today: work, then having a work BBQ party at about 3, then dipping out at 6 to go to the boxing gym.

Thanksgiving: weightlifting, then going to my sister's house with family for dinner.

Friday: more weightlifting, then driving about 2 hours to go to the in-laws for a second dinner.

Saturday and Sunday: unplanned, just the way I like it. Probably more lifting, home boxing training, and videogames. Might hit up a friend and go out for drinks.
