I've been using Afrin, but I can't use it more than a couple of days due to the risk of rebound congestion. Are there any alternatives?

Flonase doesn't really work for me.

I've got a deviated septum in my left nostril from when I broke my nose as a kid, and I do a twice a day nose-flush and use Flonase, and that pretty much keeps me breathing clearly.

So maybe try using a Nose Flush, and see if that helps things for you.

But I also use much less than the directions say. It says 2-3 in each nostril twice a day. I use 1 in 1 nostril before bed because the only thing I care about is sleeping well.

You should really invest in one of you have congestion issues.

Also another thing that helps: hot showers. I'm always good for like 7-8 hours after a really hot shower. If you go to a gym, consider hanging out in the sauna a bit.

Yes. Humidifier + daily saline rinse 'til your stuff clears a bit, is awesome.
