If you make a maintenance request for damage to the exterior of the house and they refuse to fix it, then theyre responsible. If you leave your doors open, youre responsible. I hate to say it, but youve got to use those green logs. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'm sure the specifics depend on the state, but generally speaking landlords have a duty to provide a safe and habitable living space. Pest control falls under that.
