I remember when we got our first modem; an internal 14.4kb dialup card. When had to keep track of how many minutes we used, to figure out how much the session would cost. I still have the very first image I downloaded, hornyposting rule forbids showing it here.

I still remember the very first anime episode I ever downloaded.

It was the banned from toonami outlaw star episode with the crew at the hotsprings planet off of kazaa. Uncensored low quality aisha nipples......hell yeah.

yeah, though it's still based on android, that's how sideloading apps not available in their store still work.

Ah, so not really their own OS then.

CBC doesn't advertise Huawei anymore but the gambling has taking hold. I've actually been an Android shmuck. I never grew up with Mac and while Windows has its own problems, I do prefer some versatility. Apple wasn't my bag, baybee.

It's a certain feeling to be part of the last generation to know what it's like to not have the internet or mobile phones be a regular part of everyday life, but also know what it's like for them to be part of everyday life now.

To be in my late teens to early 20's, "Oh the internet, what a magical mythical unicorn that only the privileged elite can know."

To now where it's like, "I wish social media would just die. All these stupid fuckheads online all the time. Gah!"

I get in this weird moment where maybe I wish I was an adult during the NES years but I was pretty good growing up as is. Shit, I was just at Target and I am a calamity but I just keep thinking abiut the past and everything, and how maybe it would be super wild growing up in the 2000s and having a birdcage haircut like the really chill target cashier while I helped my mom figure out the insert card end,
