Good, while scalpers is part of how capitalism works, it's also a risk as well if there's no demand or the suppliers are competent enough to make enough for everyone to get.

Well, it's an accurate way to phrase it. Shortages (when there is not enough of something to meet the need/demand) are specifically what causes scalping, so by saying "lack of shortages," it's accurately painting the picture that this isn't a situation where people want something and can't get it.

That isn't always a thing you can do. For limited purchases the sales are generally final, and for ones that come with a refund potential most will not just let you refund it forever and they would be timed out.
