So about 2% less than 2020 (California is big and slow to count so the current number doesnt tell the whole story). Turnout was not the problem for democrats since 2024 has one of the highest voter turnouts in a span of 100 years.

Thank you. I keep seeing this peddled in twitter and Reddit and its driving me nuts since people are blaming this loss on voter turnout. Turns out voters did come out and high turnout did end up helping Trump and the republicans instead of democrats.

Yeah it's been driving me nuts too, but I figured it will fix itself once the counting is done, so I am just letting it play out.

Presidential Pardons are only applicable for federal crimes. The NY trial is a state trial so a pardon can't do anything about it... at least, not directly. I don't doubt someone is going to try to pull some crazy stunt on his behalf.

Well Obama was right. Enough people have voted and we have shown who we really are.

So there is that doubt gone.

Yeah I was saying that all day yesterday. Biden got over 81 million according to google. Kamala is almost at 68 million with several million more expected from California alone. Doesnt soften the blow of defeat but people need to stop touting the 20 million thing.
