I had been feeling a bit sad since Agatha ended, so I decided to check out some Marvel content I had missed. I randomly turned on Shang Chi and was surprised at how much I liked it. The entire cast was really great and I am beyond hyped for a sequel. The fight scenes were pretty epic, and Shang Chi was pretty hot I must admit.

It even inspired me to check out Iron Man 3, which I had never done before just to see The Mandarin on there. It wasnt so great but whatever. It was fun enough. I think next Im going to try out Black Widow possibly or maybe The Eternals and then check out some of these TV shows like Loki.

Black Widow sucked

Should I even bother with The Marvels or The Eternals? I turned Black Widow off. Boring as shit. More than anything it felt really low stakes and not like a Marvel movie.

I still need to watch Guardians of The Galaxy 3 and the Holiday Special which I know Ill like.

I'd say The Eternals is worse than Black Widow, but it does have high stakes and feels like a Marvel movie (derogatory).

Haven't seen The Marvels myself, but I did like Ms Marvel.

Loki is good.

The Marvels is my favorite MCU movie since Endgame. It gets way too much hate. But definitely watch Ms Marvel first. Wandavision too, maybe. But that's not as important. Don't watch Secret Invasion until after, executive meddling make the two almost incompatible.

Eternals is hard to judge. I thought it was fine, but it made some very strange choices.

I think the first 2/3 of Shang-Chi were great, and if it kept that quality throughout, it would be one of the best movies in the MCU.

than they had to go to that one mythological place, and it dragged the movie with it, IMO.

The ending was a bit weak, I dont know what they could have done better but I concede to that point. I am very excited to watch The Marvels and get caught up on the MCU.

I still have all the TV shows to watch but figured Id watch those last. I started Ms. Marvel so maybe Ill finish it before The Marvels.

It was enjoyable, but it did have a few problems, the final act definitely being the worst part.

Dont watch Black Widow, it sucks. Eternals is decent. The Marvels got way too much hate from right wing chuds.

Yeah I think the rise to the climax was a bit too steep, and kinda played like a Pixar template to me. It was just very saturated with visual effects as well.

But I thought overall it was enjoyable. As much as I think they're falling behind with using Simu's younger years, I'd hope the sequel isn't some rushed garbage.

I really liked the train fight scene, and a lot of the other stuff from early on. Even when his Aunt was training him was pretty cool. Really just the climax itself with his dad was a bit of a letdown. Also what does his sister running the Ten Rings mean? Was she turning into a bad guy or was it just meant to be a throw away boss girl moment for fun?

Ms. Marvel was good but inconsistent at times. I am glad I watched it overall because it made me pretty hyped for The Marvels. I liked the penultimate episode although I saw the twist coming a mile away.

It made me want to check out other shows like Moon Knight and She Hulk eventually, but I do wonder if theyll even connect to the films at all?

Not as of yet, but I like the fact that it's a very large universe and not everything connects. I imagine we'll see She Hulk in Daredevil.

I thought the CGI and choreography were excellent. Especially the bus scene. Took a second watch to catch that the actor was Victor Drago.

This, the first 2/3's of the movie was excellent with great choreography. The finale should've also been one to one martial arts action and instead decided to make it a boring CGI-fest MCU finale with Cthulu.

Shang Chi was good, but it didn't need to end in a big CGI fight.

It's probably just to keep an avenue open for potential sequel material.

The Eternals is the most DC-ass comic book movie ever made (derogatory) and it somehow didn't involve DC or Zac Snyder.

I actually liked the Black Widow movie, it wasnt great, but I still enjoyed it.

I liked the first half of Shang Chi, thought it was pretty decent. I felt like the second half got weaker as it went on, so the movie is altogether a mixed bag for me. Highlight of the movie was the bus fight scene. Also I hate awkafina.

Eternals was trash.
Black widow was actually good IMO, but she should've had a movie way before that.

I really enjoyed it, especially the stuff it showed about Muslim culture actually. Which is probably what triggered people

Ms Marvel was good, but they should never have gone to Pakistan or brought in the Djinn. Villain should have just been Damage Control.

The Marvels was really good, and I did not expect that post credits scene at all.

I started Guardians 3 today. I didnt think Id have such an emotional reaction to it, but the lab scenes with Rocket are hitting me in the feelings hard today. I forgot how good the Guardians movies and cast are.

Of the ones mentioned that I've watched...

I didn't care for Shang Chi very much. Had some good moments but overall didn't click.

Did not like Eternals. Only a couple moments I liked, otherwise a bad time.

I thought Black Widow was fine, but it didn't wow me. I liked the sister a lot as a character, though so that probably elevated it for me.

Marvels was enjoyable if on the more wonky side. Some needed character development. Kinda weak in the villain department.

Loved Guardians 3. Lots about it I enjoyed, though it did have some slow moments.

You could take out the sister character from the movie and nothing would change

Marvels yes, Eternals no.

Also She-Hulk was great.

The Eternals was one of the single most boring movies I've ever seen in my life and I was completely unable to finish it.

Kumail Nanjiani almost made it a worthwhile watch, but he was underutilized. I didn't know whether to be pissed or laugh my ass off when his character just nope'd out of the final confrontation.

Guardians 3 made me cry way too much so far. The shit with Rocket and Teef, Floor etc has wrecked me. Election night has me to nervous to watch anything else though and is probably why Im a mess anyways

If you haven't yet, I say watch Werewolf by Night next since we're still less than a week removed from Halloween. It's a 'Special Presentation' that's only like 50 minutes long.

I did watch it, and I really enjoyed it. I watched it for Halloween while I was waiting for the Agatha finale. Id like to see the characters come back for another special honestly.

Shang-Chi was good, yeah. Between that, Eternals, and No Way Home all dropping back-to-back, I was really excited for the MCU back in those days.

Then the rest of phase 4/5 happened, and I'm glad we get the occasion Agatha every now and again.

Only movies I've disliked were The Marvels and Wakanda Forever. Agatha has been great, probably top 3 MCU shows.

its a shame that Shang Chi 2, if it happens is years away probably
