I always thought there were 2 but there are several lines that state that there were 3.

I would say I feel stupid but how come we never see all 3 on screen at the same time?

The kids lock one in the freezer and then the group is being hunted by two more when rexy shows up, so there have to be at least three. Plus that other one could still be stuck in the power building.

Muldoon has a line during the raptor feeding that went like this. (Note that when Muldoon refers to "she" he's referring to "the Big One", the "clever girl")

Exactly this. One of the raptors arrives late from outside and cuts off their escape (bad luck), only to have been followed by the Rex who also enters the same way (good luck).

Honestly, imagine if the raptor hadn't been there. They'd have gone right through that tarp and run smack into Rexy outside.

One distracts Muldoon while a second kills him, the third was in the power building killing Sam Jackson. Presumably the two that offed Muldoon then chase the kids. Either the freezer raptor stays stuck or the power building one stays stuck at the end. Not sure if you can tell which one.
