He isn't going to win. The momentum in the last week is mostly hers. She is campaigning right now and the Trump team is putting out a fire that may have pissed off just some of 500 thousand Puerto Ricans in PA.

Look at the polls and look at real life. I don't see them in harmony at all.

Attacking transgender people tends to hurt more than help in Elections
Every event Trump or Vance holds have only hurt them so far. Musk has largely hurt his campaign more than helped as well, especially his interview with Trump a month ago or so. Seems that outsourcing canvassing ground game to Musk has also hurt him and they aren't covering nearly as much ground as Harris' campaign
PA also had like 20% vote for Haley over Trump, showing that some Republicans will probably either not vote or vote against Trump while most still hold their nose and vote for him anyways

I'm feeling very good about Harris' chances. I think the polls are severely underestimating the success of Harris campaign's canvassing and are also inflating Trump's polling numbers.

I get more and more confident every day, so long as there's no ratfuckery. I'm getting less and less confident that there will be no ratfuckery. I have no idea how things will play out after the ratfuckery, but I can't imagine the democratic governors will just accept a straight up stolen election.

I'm just not seeing a reason to lose hope. To fear the worst thats fine, but to convince yourself it's inevitable I just don't see the basis for it. The whole "Trump outperforms polls" thing is from before Dobbs.

Honestly? While I think Trump can win things feel different than 2016. Then I had this feeling Clinton would lose even though everyone thought she would win. Now everyone thinks Trump will win and yet it feels wrong.

Yeah in real life I see more Harris signs than I ever had seen for Biden in 2020 or earlier this year driving around in the red county(Butler, PA) Trump was shot at.

This is what I am talking about. I see signs for Harris in places I wouldn't expect, and I see Trump signs only in places I would.

The race is too close to call at the moment.

- there are Republican pollsters flooding the averages to make Trump look like he has more of an advantage than he does. In reality the candidates are deadlocked.

- early voting is heavily favoring Dems, even despite an increase in early voting from Republicans.

- Trump has been slipping with multiple demographics he traditionally held. He's gaining with others, but it's unsure if they're actually vote Trump in the end or if they're even located in the states he needs.

- there is the possibility that Harris enjoys a groundswell of new voters, not captured by the polls, over issues like Roe.

- the Trump campaign is incompetent and still committing voter alienating mistakes ex. letting a racist comedian trash Puerto Rico at a recent rally.

While yes Trump overperformed his polls the last two times and also has structures in play to try to steal a close race there are no guarantees yet.

Trump's rally in Atlanta tonight was so small that if someone farted everybody in the arena would hear it. But in 2020 Trump was filling stadiums in the middle of a pandemic, people like Herman Cain were literally willing to die to be in attendance for them. And even that year he still lost to Biden.

This is a clearly weakened, even less popular version of Trump we're seeing now. Ignore the media and believe your own eyes.

Enthusiasm for Trump is relatively low. There's probably a significant group only voting for him because "Biden bad".

I don't think that number is particularly high to begin with. Most people that are opposed to the genocide are either still voting for Harris because of damage reduction in other areas or are voting for a third party or are not voting. There's always uninformed people making ridiculous decisions because of a lack of information, but people that actually care and have understanding are most likely not voting Trump.

People keep bringing up the Muslim vote, but Muslims are not a unified group, and I'd imagine most of those voting for Trump are more conservative and don't want a woman as president, just as it is with more conservative Christians, and that is a larger concern for them.
