It was when it happened. Got CartNarc banned later on as well when he got a bit too gaslight-y and defensive about it.

-defamation which is what the videos he posts insinuate (terrible person, not putting away carts thus we need to shame them for said behavior)
-with everything mentioned, gas lighting people/provoking people into reacting to said content or behaviors from said content creator

really what the cart narc is doing isnt exactly legal, someone can legit sue him should they take it the wrong way if not suing someone may be tempted to hurt that guy. Hes acting very dicey for the sake internet publicity.

Followed a cop around yelling at them, insulting them, threw things at a cop car?

So how come it's ok for him to do it to random women?

They will never ever answer this because they have to admit flat out it's completely illegal it's just no one has the time or patience to sue/arrest him over it.

As far as I know, he consulted with his lawyer and hes said that everything that Cart Narc has done so far has been within the limits of the law except for the pit maneuver (which is why he stopped doing it)

Not in every video, but yes he has done it in the past. Hence why someone defending Cart Narc gave a "but she liked it!" response rather than denying it.

Hes antagonistic, but honestly, return your cart. You got nobody to blame but yourself if you draw his attention. If he throws some magnet on your car and you cry about it, good. Should have returned your cart and you deserve your public shaming whenever you didnt return your cart

That would just make Cart Narc more heinous. Harassing people, putting crap on their car, etc. are all super against any level of social contract... far more so than any leaving of carts out. A minor inconvenience does not beget a crime under any reasonable interpretation of the social construct.

I mean obviously. But calling someone out who just sorta tosses their cart isn't really all that big of a problem. Some people don't like being embarrassed or called out for their bullshit though, so that's why they get salty when confronted.

He hasn't ever just "called someone out" in a single video anyone has ever posted. He exclusively harasses, never less.

So yeah, he's pretty asinine. That's why people watch him: to watch some big guy get in peoples' faces and berate them.

Never made it longer than 30 seconds. So idk, but I have no problem with calling people out for not putting their cart back. Or picking up their dogs shit. Or double parking. Or whatever else.

They would also arrest a guy just filming them which they are not supposed to do but they do all the time.

What you do in a public setting is everyones business. Ive seen carts that werent put away roll into cars and cause damage.
