To put into perspective his dominance. He hadn't allowed a point since 2008. That was 16 years without even allowing a point until now where he allowed two passivity point in Paris. He also hadn't competed since 2022. Comes to Paris at 41 years old (He will be 42 in 2 weeks) and wins his 5 straight gold. I remember hearing talks of removing wrestling from the Olympics and I was appaled as it's one of the originals. Glad to see it's still around. Even if they feel it pulls too little ratings to televise I feel they should keep it it just because it's always been a Olympic sport since the beginning --- I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process ...
