My home office has two 6' x 2'6" tables, for maximum working space. Also I will mounted all my monitors so the bases don't take up space, lol.

I use a VR headset with virtual monitors, giving me theoretically infinite screens of any sizes. Or at least as many as the app supports. Five; which is still four more than I usually use, and three more than I ever use.

I've been debating getting a second little workbench type desk in my work from home office.

I am starting to really feel the lack of any productive hobby when I just do gaming eating at my soul a little, and I think maybe getting into some light casual repairs would be fun. I know I enjoy retro game system repair videos and I think I would enjoy some level of tinkering like that.

I connect directly to a simulated office via a neural link in the back of my neck. Through the power of my brain I can manipulate the simulation any way I see for to better optimize my working hours.

One of my tables is for gaming and PC. The other is for tinkering, repairs, writing, WFH and my general "to do" pile.

Ive used tables since 2016, a desk is far too cumbersome.

Ive been considering this.

I dont know if forces an orientation of the direction up but it would be nice to be able to lay on the couch sometimes.

I do want to get a new desk because I've been using the one I had from before I was doing WFH but it can't be too big because I bought a bookshelf not that long ago that's next to it and I have no other spot to move the book shelf due to all the other bookshelves I already have in the room.
