WW3 USA would 100% not stay held together from the inside if this happens. Differences would have to be put aside and uncomfortable allies constructed for the world to stand a chance.

Basically all of Europe + China + India would definitely make USA uncomfortable in conventional warfare. Canada and Mexico would remain neutral and they definitely wouldn't want to drag their citizens into some massive war.

The US wouldn't start it because there's no profit in that.

Now, would a US led by Totally Stable Genius Businessman backed by 3, 4 honorable senators Holden bloodfeast the first, second, and third be able to keep itself out of a conflict that has no real purpose besides misery? Good question probably not

More likely that the US becomes more insular and unlikely to engage unless attacked directly.

The economy will go up in a pit of fire once that happens. You don't get to enjoy insane amounts of wealth while also being isolationists.

To be fair i doubt we would have any allies left at that point maybe shitters like russia and north korea

If WWIII happens with a fascist US, it's probably going to take the opportunity to invade Canada and Mexico in short order, whether they want to fight the US or not. And chances are, they're going to end up being bombed to hell and conquered fast, like what happened to France in WWII.

I think biggest problem is USA in this scenario will have to put out a LOT of fires in its own territories. Enough for it to be able to fully focus on every other place thats attacking them. They also would have to be fighting to protect their bases in other countries that will no doubt be under fire. Not even USA can be everywhere at once. USA would be spread too thin if significant enough first world countries+china and india decided to hold an Alliance.

This isn't even mentioning resistence efforts within its own borders. Its not like they have the entire country in lockstep like Germany did. MORE than half the country would hate what they are doing.

Annexing Canada, maybe. Why Mexico though? If it's for cannon fodder, then we just have to offer citizenship after serving. No need to take a large country run by crime lords and try to hold it.
