I hope so. But as much as I want to keep living its only if I can still have my independence and be able to move around. I dont want to be like in a facility and be sitting in a wheel chair all day all fucked up.

As long as I can still live in my house, drive and go to the grocery store, and take care of myself. My dad is 66 and in great health. Just retired at the end of April and he gets around fantastic.

My grandpa is 84 and has a cane now but still gets around, travels, drives, lives on his own. Hes still doing good.

As long as it can be like that I want to hang on as long as possible.

At this rate no. I don't know how I'm supposed to endure another 40+ years of this. My life is not good.

Nope. I'm in my early 30s, had a good life thus far, but I haven't taken care of myself and I don't intend to either. The idea of living to >80 with decades of healthy eating and some form of routine simply doesn't work for me. I'd much rather have another 10 years and die young and happy, rather than with tubes up my nose and needing someone to clean my arse for me.

I 100% appreciate this will be divisive but I don't want kids, so I don't see a problem in cutting decades off my life expectancy by eating shit food, drinking too much, and driving fast cars around. I just hope that when my day is done, I go peacefully in my sleep.

Sounds spot-on to me.

Who can really say?

Compared to some, Im pretty healthy. However, Ive also had many injuries, some of which already give me problems at 37.

Then theres just the fact that theres so many things you cant account for. You can live as healthily as you like, but if youre unlucky, some disease or accident or whatever will take you young anyway.

I hope so. That is only another 23 years. I don't want to make my wife a widow at a young age.

Just thinking about this exact age yesterday. Probably, but it'll most likely be heart issues if I don't.

So far I can honestly say, as someone in his late 30s, I have not found myself living past 70.

I could certainly see it, though.
