Isnt literally their entire fucking argument about Trump that hes an outsider and not a politician?

I see conservatives saying that AOC does not have the credentials to be a politician because she was a bartender, but how the fuck does that make sense? How can you believe in the concept of the deep state but also heavily criticize someone because they werent born into politics?

Conservatives are hypocrites and they embrace their hypocrisy. There's no point in trying to understand them. They can believe in multiple contradictory beliefs at the same time and switch between them depending on what's more convenient at the time.

I just cant understand the mental gymnastics that would make someone who likes an outsider hate someone for having to work a regular job before politics

Because she's their opponent and therefore their enemy; and the conservative ideal says you can do anything to someone who is your enemy because whatever they do is wrong simply because they are doing it. If you don't have a grievance you can invent one. Nothing you do to the enemy is unjustified. Any debate or complaint isn't based on any real beliefs or values, it's simply to score points.

This is fine because in their mind you would do the same to them. You're already doing it. They just need to do it before you.
