can show up and eat everything, but the native species don't look at the invasive species and think about eating it even though there are similar things that look like it.

I'm not sure how you can have been bothered for a period long enough to describe with the moniker "always" by something that isn't a thing.

The invasive has to outcompete. In the case of some invasive species. Like the cane toad, theyre unsafe.

Plenty of invasive species become food to the right predators. The problem is often humans have eradicated all predators in the local area.
Isolated islands are an an exception where humans ended up the outright dominant predator and therefor all subsequent invasive species have no real problems other than human management, such as in Australia and New Zealand

Humans are the biggest invasive species....

bird feeders are bad because:
-they can overfeed animals
-they can mess an animal's metabolism when it's time for hibernation
-they can trick animals into thinking there's an abundant food supply when it's time for them to migrate
-they don't teach animals to forage for food properly
-animals may end up eating something they are not supposed to

Invasive species are a problem by definition

non-native species that get introduced and integrate into the ecosystem arent considered invasive

100% of the food in my bird feeder is eaten by squirrels (as I intended for my dogs to chase them) and theyre not migratory animals.

I didnt think it was possible to infantilize a bird but somehow you managed.

The skills that they dont have naturally are taught by their parents.

-the sugar water can be contaminated easily
-humming birds prefer the feeders so much that many flowers go unpollinated

Squirrels cant find 75% of the nuts they hide anyway so I think were good.

Birds don't hibernate.

flowers have to work harder to compete with bird feeders
