Back in the day I saw most of part 1 but skipped around in Shippuden/the Manga and kinda lost interest during the war arc

Don't get me wrong there is a lot of cool elements to war arc but it is a masterclass of being a cluster fuck with too many over the top power ups and ass pulls, especially Kaguya.

It'd be like if we got Super Saiyans 1, 2, and 3 in one arc.

But ultimately Storm 4 and Connections got me interested in the series so now I'm going back to watch a lot of episodes I missed/parts of the Manga I didn't read

5 Kage Summit has been great and I know Sasuke has a big fight with Danzo I am coming up on

I think land of waves and chunin Evans are better. But it might be best in Shippuden. I like how it really expands the world by introducing the kages and their top Shinobi.
