I just realized I never have. I have former employers, coworkers, and acquaintances on there from over 10 years ago.

I really wish my banking app would let me do this for e-transfers

Seems silly to just let them pile up

Or someone I haven't talked to in like a decade. Did a cleanup a few years ago

I do it every few years, but whenever I get a new phone they seem to pop back in through some sort of magic

On my contacts I dont put second names. Theres one person there who could be one of four people

usually whenever i switch phones because i don't use whatever sync things to transfer data over so i usually start with a clean slate

but if it's saved somehow, idk, i don't really look at the list though

I start any work related people with W- so its easy to review and purge later.

Girls I am into start at Z-. If they friend zone or an orbiter pattern develops I change them to Y-.. whereas if we date and break up they are changed to X-.

Sometimes I think about it, or even start to, but I end up just doing like firmer company IT numbers and leaving it at that.

But if this friend from high school I haven't spoken to in fifteen years DID call, I would LOVE to catch up and it would ruin things if I have to ask who it is.

I barely have any contacts on my phone. That said, I try to clean up my facebook contacts every couple years.

I synced my contacts with my business partners. So when his widow got his phone I deleted all the important ones. I have a master list saved then transferred to a old cardfiling system we have been using for 25 years. So yeah I haven't touched it in 4 years since his passing. No need to but they are there if I need to contact our suppliers again
