Hopefully three and a half pounds of udon stir fry kit make more than one serving.

it's a foodbank put on by a local church that is set up sort of like a small-scale grocery store, where everything is worth a certain number of "points" you get a certain number of points to "spend" on items based on your household size and the number of adults and children. instead of traditional food banks like the Salvation Army or whatever where they just give you a predetermined selection of stuff. when we went a few weeks ago, they had a bunch of those in their freezer, and we grabbed one.

Not the chicken salad, but I regularly get the mini-tacos and Chow Mein. They used to sell Beef Chow Mein, but switched it to Chicken. I miss the Beef.

no, it is a no questions asked type of deal. well, except for how many people in the household.

and thank you. i am in the process right now of launching a small business selling mini cheesecakes at local farmers markets, fairs, and festivals, so if that goes well my situation will indeed get better, and soon. and i hope to be able to give back to the community whenever i can. i plan to make regular donations of my product to local food banks, homeless shelters, and women's shelters, as well as make charitable donations to causes i believe in.

word to the wise though, grow your business a bit before making constant donations. Not that you shouldn't do it, but keep it to like twice a year until your actually making money consistently. If your smart about it, decorate those cakes in holiday themes, will help you passively grow your business through word of mouth.

yeah, i know. i won't be able to do it right off the bat. but i have already been spreading the word about my plans for my business. everywhere i go where people might know me, i've been talking about it. to old co-workers at Walmart, at the physical therapist place i was going to, the place i get my haircut, the old community college i went to where i contacted a graphics arts professor who set me up with a graduating student to design my logo, etc. everyone is excited and can't wait for it to launch, and they all say to let them know when i'm up and running. i'm gonna launch a social media platform for it, go around and give everyone my business cards when i have 'em. i'm planning on hitting the ground running.

I did. I used to like it at first, but now I don't for some reason. I love their pasta salad though, but they haven't had it the last few times we've gone. And we only go like every few months.
