I make meatloaf regularly and prefer it. In fact I'll be buying ground beef tomorrow at the store to make it this week. I also have to say if you really want to do it right you should cook it on a broasting pan rather than a loaf pan as it cooks so much better and you don't have to worry about emptying any juice or worry about the top being more done than the bottom because the bottom is submerged in juice and not cooking the same.

I do enjoy a good roast though. I typically do a nice local chuck roast and I always slow cook it all night long in a, well a slow cooker, with potatoes, pearl onions, and carrots and those come out so soft and moist and soak up so much flavor from the juice of the meat. I also make this periodically.

I love both, but I have to go with meatloaf, since I tend to have mashed potatoes and cooked baby carrots alongside it, I guess I'm kinda still getting my favorite part of a good pot roast regardless

Neither, tbh. If I had to eat one at gunpoint, I guess pot roast.

Both dishes with decently high highs, but abysmally low lows

Meatloaf. When I was young mom made it with what she called "A Heart of Gold", which was a cheesy center. Gonna have to make it for myself soon now that you've got me thinking about it.

Legitimately the only person I have ever seen in my life who referred to Meatloaf as a guitarist lol.

I'm going meat loaf. Pot roast is the epitome of boring ass food in my mind.
