Rural areas in general suck ass. I don't know much about the cities out there, but the isolated small towns are almost certainly shit, by metric of being isolated small towns.

There are, but the midwest has less cities to break it up. And small towns are fine if you can quickly get to a decent city.

I've lived here all my life. The politics sux. But other than that it's ok. Not sure the beef with small towns. No traffic or crime. Being able to see the stars at night. It's a pretty chill life.

Lived in the Midwest my entire life. There are shitty parts, but great parts as well.
As for what makes up the Midwest, go with the census definition as the broadest one. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/1/120b0b05.jpg But the circled ones are really Great Plains states, not Midwestern states, imho. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. ... False. There's far more meth an fentanyl per capita in small towns, and violence associated. This is wrong on it's face but I suppose easily Googleable results are worth sharing https://usafacts.org/articles/where-are-crime-victimization-rates-higher-urban-rural-areas/ https://www.ruralhealthinfo.org/topics/substance-use So even if we round favorably to support your position, drug use is largely equivalent in rural and urban settings but that only reflects in a higher rate of violent crime in urban settings. Anecdotally, the meth heads in rural areas at least have a place to lay their head at night bc they're still buds with people they went to school with. In urban areas these people are much more desperate which results in their criminal behaviors --- Science and Algorithms ... Copied to Clipboard!
