Having just played NV, I wouldn't say it's the worst I've played by a long shot, but it was nearly unplayable, just because of the game constantly crashing.

I was unable to complete the game because the character I was supposed to talk to was glitched inside a wall. After uninstalling New Vegas, I decided to give Jedi: Fallen Order a try. I think I found a game worse than New Vegas.

Worst game? Unlimited Saga. A table-top RPG as a video game... neat idea, neat story, broken game mechanics.

Terribly balanced, a fully MIDI soundtrack on a PSX game during the middle of the system's lifespan, boring story, and hard as fuck. The single most unenjoyable game I've ever played. Too bad it was a TRPG.

It had a legendary topic on its board.

Worst game I've ever played was some freeware fan Mortal Kombat game slapped together in the mid-90s that wasn't entirely functional.

Worst game that I've played to completion is Dragon Age Inquisition

I don't think I've ever played the notorious jank from the Atari era, so I'll pick Superman 64 as a safe answer. I had no idea it was trash when I rented it, and boy oh boy, imagine going from Ocarina of Time to that. Decades later, however, I'm glad I experienced such a "landmark" game before it became so well known.

My personal most disappointing and offensive game, though, is probably Silent Hill Homecoming.

It was either Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly or Gauntlet Seven Sorrows.

I don't remember much about either game aside from them being very short. I just remembered being very disappointed in them and thinking they're were dogshit compared to the original Spyro trilogy and Gauntlet Dark Legacy.

Bubsy 3D has gotta be up there for me.

Mega Man: Battle Chip Challenge. I was a fan of the Battle Network series, saw it at a store for cheap one day and was like Why havent I ever heard of this?. Turns out there was a reason. Basically its a precursor to one of those gacha fake-games that play themselves.

The weird thing is it's remarkably well balanced with a ton of viable strategies that all look totally different...

But it also literally plays itself, which is as lame as you can get.

Pit Fighter for SNES. Awful game all around
