If so I guess the haters at Fandom feels like this old dying site doesn't need to stay up and running anymore. But still if I owned Gamefaqs I would keep it the way it was. Like back in the old days.

I believe the costs are relatively small, and they make a small profit. They want to keep it for the algorithm. That's all they care about.
