I don't think many people who play Cruelty Squad are gonna do it without taking a look and going "Yeah, I can vibe with this"

But like 0 of my real life friends would enjoy this

I've heard boomer shooter fans say it's fairly average for the genre. That might be more about the gameplay though

If you play it just as a Doom clone, yeah. The Immersive Sim elements to the gameplay are very good though.
