I like talking. I may be shy, but I love listening, and talking to people when I have something to say. My job involves calling people, and I have no qualms at all about doing that.

HOWEVER, through writing... I just suck. I can't express myself fully at all, which sucks when you try to maintain friendships or use Tinder, hah. Like, I don't get texting etiquette at all. It's either my texts are too long, my texts aren't to the point, the thoughts don't reach me like it does verbally, I often make typos from trying to text too fast -- and the list goes on.

I often read about people knowing how to express themselves in writing, but never the other way around. Can anyone relate?

That's not how change works

That's funny, becasue I've always been able to express myself better through my writing than any sort of oral communication.

I think it's the ability to think and edit when I am writing, as opposed to the pressure of public speaking.

I'm pretty much the opposite.

Being able to sit alone, organize my thoughts, and write them down allows me to easily express my thoughts without any social pressure.

When I'm talking face to face though, I tend to overthink what I want to say and worry too much about how others react to my words. It also doesn't help that I'm awful at reading social cues. I get to deal with the double whammy of misunderstanding people and being misunderstood myself.
