Probably as part of a broader purge of non-game-related boards, though really the ban on political discussion could sweep up a lot of topics on that board.

Aw, dammit, that got locked?

And yeah, it's fairly mellow except when that one Gnostic-thumper posts. Yes, you read that correctly. Yes, he makes other gnostics look bad.

Anyhow, I think the Paranormal/Conspiracy board might be first, since it's next to impossible not to discuss politics in that one unless Fandom renamed it to "Cryptids, Ghosts, and Metaphysical" (aside from the supposed MK Ultra sub-project that involved attempted witchcraft and PK ability, haunted Civil War battlefields, and theories about the effects global warming could have on cryptids, there aren't very many opportunities to turn those subjects political.)
