Come to think of, I wonder how the site will handle the sports boards when the topic of public funding for new stadiums/arenas invariably pops up. A new stadium discussion is absolutely topical there, and if those greedy bastard owners push for public money as they always do, discussing that would likewise be topical.

There are examples like this across the site. The Pro Wrestling board gets political sometimes. Donald Trump participated and appeared at multiple Wrestlemanias. Political affiliations of various current and past wrestlers often come up when one of them says something really stupid on Twitter.

This just shows how poorly thought out this whole plan is. If this was done by a professional organization the rules would be updated and timed with the release of the news. There would be clear direction for the entire team and community. This seems like it was a decision that was either not expressed to the rest of the team, or hurried for some reason. Either way its not a good sign and suggests that they have no clue what direction they actually want to go.

The answer, TC is this:
The mods are supposed to just know what Fandom intends without being told.

As for Fandom, they never even thought this out because it seemed so simple at first.

Honestly like some others have said it seems intentionally vague so they can ban people at their will. These are puritan levels that would make a Mormon blush.

Bro this website is 13+. There are PLENTY of websites about that stuff. Nothing puritanical about this.

It's intentionally vague so that every conversation isn't just right on that line to "make a statement". It's actually what you'd call common sense.
